Pirin Extreme is held in the heart of Pirin National Park. The park is part of UNESCO World Heritage list and it offers extremely suitable terrain for skyrunning, as well as amazing, breathtaking views. The route with a length of 38K is part of the Skyrunner® World Series and I can briefly say that this is the most extreme running race in Bulgaria. It combines long steep ascents and descents, two long narrow technical mountain ridges and four peaks above 2700m. A race like no other!
